Also, it was no secret that Pat had some severe health problems. *I'm
sure there are a few readers here who are simply too clueless to have
noticed Pat's postings on the subject of his health. *Obviously Guthball

I'm affraid I'm another one that was totally clueless. *Pat's death was
a total shock to me.

The most memorable incident, for me anyway, involved his toe being
amputated, making it easy to find with Google Groups. *In 2005, Pat was
in the hospital due to a severe infection in his left big toe, which had
to be amputated. *At that time he was diagnosed with diabetes.

I thought that was OM

....Pat got an infected big left toe in 2005 - he'd ripped off the nail
and didn't bandage it properly nor make sure all of the nail had been
removed. While he was in getting it chopped off, he discovered his
diabetes had gone "full blown" and was on either Glucotrol or
Gliburide until about 2008, when his quack switched him to insulin
injections. He had some other diabetes-related complications, and as
suddenly as it took him I'd be willing to bet it was kidney/renal
failure of the rapid onset kind. I tried contacting his brother right
after Scott passed me the word about Pat's passing, but I never
managed to get in touch with him.

....2008 was when I lost first the outer half of my right foot, then
had a different, still-unexplained infection cause the rest of the leg
below the knee to be amputated. It was then that they found I'd also
developed full-blown Type 2, but the sugar levels running wild only
seem to be linked to infections, which is why every single time I have
to go in to the ER for my newly-diagnosed Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome, I
have to make sure that the ER staff know that the CVS is what needs to
be treated, and to not automatically assume that it's a case of "oh,
he's just a big fat guy with diabetes. Let him suffer for a while and
teach him a lesson about watching his blood sugar. My hospital records
now have a BIG NOTE that pops up whenever they're accessed that
explains the CVS situation, with orders from both my physician and the
hospital chief of staff that the vomiting and pain are to be dealt
with first *before* any sugar issues are taken care of. This finally
forced the ER staff to address the correct problem, and now my CVS is
about 80% under control. I'm getting hit with a touch of it now, but
the meds they prescribed for it are keeping things tolerable while my
body and stomach starts to calm down a bit.

Of course, seeing that son-of-a-whore Guth on here badmouthing Pat
just to get his shrivvled one pitiful excuse for a gonad stimulated to
the point where he can at least badly fake an orgasm isn't helping
keep my stomach calmed down. Yet another reason the psychotic *******
needs to kick the bucket...
