Default NASA's Reprieve of The Hubble.

NASA's Reprieve of The Hubble.

It is not often that people actually do
the intelligent thing. The decision by NASA
to service the Hubble telescope is one of
those rare occasions when the intelligent
thing to do is actually going to be done
(even if only after much soul-searching by
the usual political monkeys putting in
doubt our humanity).

The Hubble telescope is one of those few
science projects that actually produces REAL,
unquestioningly good and sound scientific
results which will stand pat for generations
of future scientists to affirm the insights or
correct the blindness of today's interpreters
and misinterpreters alike for themselves.

The results gathered by the Hubble may still
be subject to misinterpretation, of course, but
its collected facts will remain forever free of
human error for as long as it may take... for
them to add up to the truth's inescapable
conclusion.

Unlike the capricious notions which cavort in
the human mind under the deluded name of
human convictions, the images the Hubble
gives us are unerringly the unprejudiced truths
about the universe. And those truths can wait
for as long as it takes us to finally wipe away
all that we might wish to see "there" and at last
begin to see ONLY what really is there.

And that is the most crucial part of science.
