Jupiter already contains well over 70% of the extra-solar mass in the
solar system. Even if all the planets and asteroids and comets joined
in, it wouldn't grow even 50%. If you limit the growth to just the
asteroids, the growth would be pretty miniscule as a percentage.


Thanks for the reply...so basically there's no chance of us becoming a
binary star system then?
