Default Additional SLS Launch Delay

In article ,
says...

The big question of course is, apart from the slingshot around the Moon,
what else could SLS realistically do with the few flights they have
available?

Why, they'll start the Lunar Orbiting Platform - Gateway. And use
that as justification for needing more engines and more launches.

That's the plan, but the stupid thing is that every planned flight to
the Gateway is a cargo mission co-manifested with Orion. So much for
"separating crew and cargo" (which was always b.s.). But if they did
separate crew and cargo, you don't need SLS to build the Gateway. You
need something like Falcon Heavy and/or Delta IV heavy. Each of which
is much cheaper to fly a couple of missions (one crew, one cargo)
instead of one SLS mission.

Look at the proposed Gateway components. They're tiny! SLS is simply
not needed.
