A nice day for a brisk walk form the Transit Center to the library! Rode bus 81 on its new shortened route today. There was some confusion yesterday at the Transit Center, because they have changed the rules on where the buses park and where they load. Some people are having trouble with the new HOP cards too. Sometimes I had to tap mine twice to make it work.

AA Don't see you posting? Bert

Hey, Bert! I have had a miserable cold and so have just stayed home for almost 2 weeks to just rest and recuperate. At least it wasn't the flu or pneumonia, but the most miserable cold I have had in a long time. Maybe it was because I was to cheap to get any cold medicine to help this time. You know as rents keep going up, and social security doesn't, we are forced into ever more miserable existences!

Yeah, those doctors run a real good scam game on medicare. I was also referred to specialists for tests, and they could see no reason why I was referred. Yet they were always happy to put the medicare money into their pockets. Helps pay the dues at the doctor's yacht! My wife knew a doctor who was a surgeon. He had 7 Mercedes! Makes he wonder why my dad discouraged me from going to medical school!

A beautiful day here in Gresham. 56F as of 5 PM. Clear sky, sunny, and calm. Humidity 42%. Breeze variable.

Beware of that pacemaker, Bert. It is probably another grab for medicare money! And anther thing, for the last ten years they have been putting pacemakers on the Internet! What this means is that any hacker could hack into your pacemaker and turn it off! Or worse! Not good if you have enemies in high places! Not at all good if the Ruskies hate you!

I hope to be back posting now on a more regular basis as I am feeling much better.
