Well to keep it in DOS use the debug command for that. You'll also
need a good guide to the available interrupts - ISTR the best one
was from Ralf Brown but that is going back quite a while.

That's probably not the solution for you though. Look into the
various HLLs that are available - C, Basic, Pascal etc. Some
versions of DOS included a Basic interpreter which excitingly may
or may not be compatible with the interpreter found on other versions
of DOS.

What does this have to do with astronomy? You'll be a lot better
off asking in a relevant group.
