Thank you for your encouragement. I used the afocal method with a 200 mm
dobsonian telescope and a 20 mm eyepiece. The camera, a bottom of the range
Sony digital, was held in position using a support bought from BC&F. To
avoid camera shake the 10 sec delay was used and the exposure etc was
determined automatically. The telescope was focussed and the focuser locked
in position before the camera was lined up.

two comments from me....

1. Don't compress the images so much, there's a loss of quality and a keen
eye can pickout.

2. Take more images, these are good. Nice and sharp. How did you take
these?
