Maybe RLV rocket engines are certified for restarts, but the main
Zvezda engines are good for one year, and that's it.

The Zvezda main thrusters had a certified lifetime of one year, which
expired in 2001.


Nope, the lifetime is specified by number of starts, not time. The engines
are well within the limit.

Also, Progress blocks those thrusters.


Only when there's a Progress there.
