Actually, it is correct that they do have an evac plan set to go on Dec. 30
if the progress resupply fails in some way. ISS does currently have
something like a 30 day supply of food and they will return to ground if
they have to.

I do not know if it is due to the astronauts 'overeating' (news paper
reporter hype) or just the fact that the resupply is running late. I'm not
sure how much overeating can be going on if they all come back down weighing
less than when they go up.
