Default astro: display brightness?

It's model SDM-HS95P DVI-D

This monitor is okay but it is sensitive to the vertical angle of the screen
face and your eye... the dark backgrounds change quite a lot with just a bit
of angle change.... It will tilt easily so I do adjust the tilt to keep my
line of sight perpendicular to the screen face.... and try not to slouch!

That sounds like the screen on my imaging laptop. I plug it into a CRT
for image processing due to this problem -- and it can't begin to
reproduce even 16 greyscale levels let alone 26. Early on when I tried
to use the LCD I found myself trying to take out non existent gradients
at the bottom of the screen. Due to a nerve disease I do slowly slouch
with time. Looks like I'll be using that space hog, and super heavy (73
lb.) 21" CRT for a while longer.

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".
