I understand that it is a great camera. The Cannon digital rebel has been
available for some time in such a configuration. Reviews I have read
suggests that it works very well. Since the above camera is their top of
the line digital, I would expect that it too will be great for
astrophotography. I have a digital rebel, though I have yet to have the IR
filter modified. Even so, it works very well for astrophotography.
