Default German TV Breaks Taboo With Story Of Post WWII Refugees

And it does NOT belong on an astronomy newsgroup.

There are those who believe that life here, began out there, far across the
universe, with tribes of humans, who may have been the forefathers of the
Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe that they may yet be
brothers of man, who even now fight to survive, somewhere beyond the
heavens.

German TV Breaks Taboo With Story Of Post WWII Refugees

By Tony Paterson in Berlin
The Independent - UK
3-9-7

German viewers tuned in to a taboo-breaking television drama last
night that for the first time tackled the plight of millions of their
countrymen who were driven out of what is now eastern Europe by
Russia's Red Army after the Second World War.

Gee, WarSwine, this really evokes a lot of warm and fuzzy sympathy for the
poor misplaced and mistreated Germans.

Why don't they make a movie called "Die Vergewaltigung", which would
chronicle the 2 years prior to 1945, when the Teutonic hordes plundered
and raped their way towards Moscow, leaving behind barren swaths of
desolation due to their Fuehre's "Scorched Earth" policy. When the tide
finally turned, the Russian soldiers were civilized in their treatment of
German civilians, at least when compared to the barbaric machinations of
their SS counterparts.
