Beautiful image Rick, and a nice bonus too.
I'll have to reshoot M61 this year too, it looks so good in your image.

Supernova 2008in was discovered in M61 on December 26 by Koichi Itagaki.
He reported it at magnitude 14.9. On Jan 5th at 10 hours UTC I get
14.9 in red light and 14.5 blue light. It is a type II supernova. This
is the classic massive star the goes SN when it runs out of fuel. M61
has shown a surprising number of supernova in it. The last was found in
November 2006 also by Itagaki! M61 is part of the Virgo galaxy cluster
and thus about 60 million light years away. You can read more about it
and the 5 other known SN in it at: http://seds.org/messier/m/m061.html
I've posted a cropped image with the SN marked and a second showing the
entire FOV

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".
