Default InSight probe lands on Mars. Was this the slowest-flying probe ever? 6200mph?

Do the math. At that speed it would have taken 5.5 years to get there,
not half a year. The actual peak speed was more like 62,000 mph, or 28
km/s. (Down to about 5.5 km/s when it encounters the martian
atmosphere.)
