A while ago I read an article that based on radar imaging of Venus that
there is some current plate tectonic activity.

Oh good; something to look forward. I wonder if Venus has basically the
same continent formation as Earth of 3 plates lined up like this | | |
where the leftmost plate is North and South America, and the middle
plate is Europe + Africa and the rightmost plate is Asia + Australia.
That pattern would be the end result of the constant daily electrical
bolts of lightning striking the ground and setting up a direction of
movement of the plate tectonics.
But I suspect Mars has this pattern also.
