Socialism and communism are very different.


Both are based on the elimination of private property and the abuse of natural rights. The distinction is that fascism (the WW2 axis for example) allows for existence of "capitalism" if/when convenient for those in power; such a government essentially runs and owns the factories and capital.

And there are vanishingly
few socialists to be found anywhere in the developed world.
