Failure to dock with ISS would necessitate fixing the problems and re-
flying the mission. That wouldn't be disastrous, but it would cost time
and money and give Orbital Sciences time to catch up.

OSC Antares is a dead end, with its second-hand engines in finite supply
and much of the first stage being non-indigenous. It's not a good long-
term pork supplier to the WFF area.
