The daily arc of the Sun from East to West is in the opposite direction to circumpolar motion with variations in arc across the seasons, you know this because the arcs in the Northern hemisphere of the globe where Polaris can be seen get smaller towards the Equator and larger towards Poles as winter turns to summer. That nonsensical explanation which you call excellent has smaller arcs towards Polaris and larger towards the Equator while trying to explain daily variations in twilight across latitudes.

You bunch of celestial sphere cultists turn the daily arc of the Sun in the wrong daily direction using the altitude of Polaris to the local horizon and that is distorting the apparent observations known to all astronomers through all eras where the variation of the arc of the Sun is never in circumpolar motion .










The Earth is turning on its axis, for crying out loud. Sure, the distance of the Sun and moon from the pole slowly changes throughout the year and month, respectively, but over the course of a day that change is relatively small. You have again picked the wrong battle, this one is easily observed and measured and you don't have a leg to stand on.

The only possible variations in the arc of the Sun are from the same latitude with the arc getting smaller towards the Equator towards the winter Solstice in whatever hemisphere the observation is being made -

If you can insert the Sun's motion into a circumpolar arc from horizon to horizon with Polaris at the center then good for you but then again you are celestial sphere cultists and you might even try.

There is a big difference between having difficulties translating apparent motions into actual motions as opposed to actually doctoring apparent motions to suit a conclusion. In your case,putting the Sun in circumpolar motion and varying the arcs from smaller at the Poles to widest at the Equator is easily the most explicit indication of a cult with all its destructive agendas.
