Default Is Jupiter's destiny to become a solid planet?

Currently it's mostly gaseous, but it's always directing more and more asteroids into it, which must be growing the solidity of its core. Regarding the gasses, are they perceived to eventually undergo deposition, and maybe become materials on a solid planet?
