life on Earth has existed for 4 Billion years (ProKaryotes and
euKaeyotes). So the evolution of life does not appear to be as
much of an exception, but rather the rule, since we can most
assuredly assume that all planets underwent the same meta-
morphosis from a glowing hot ball of molten "stuff" (to para-
phrase Carl Sagan) to a cooled down planet in the goldilocks
zone.
