Default Humanity has spiked atmospheric carbon dioxide.

It is a lot more complex than this, but the basic idea is that long ago many
plants grew and absorbed massive amounts of carbon. That carbon has been,
mostly, contained in their remains ever since (though there was one massive,
natural release of it long ago - which lead to one of the great
extinctions).

Now humans are releasing this carbon back into the atmosphere and into the
oceans at a rate unseen since the evolution of man. This is likely to lead
not just to warming but to another great extinction... and will destroy our
coastal cities and alter much of the climate and ecology of the planet.

Some stick their head in the sand... but at this point there is so much good
info on this that without a reasoned counter, for which there is currently
none, to deny it is simply to chose to be ignorant. We see that in several
folks in COLA: willful ignorance. It is a shame.

The head in the sand is the amazing fantasy you just spun. CO2 is not a
major Greenhouse gas. There is ZERO evidence that it caused any
extinction. All of this is simply fiction and speculation.

You are the shame here which allows total science fiction to be
presented as "science" for the financial gain of the few.

SHAME ON YOU!

In the mean time we can all prepare to run from that 2 millimeter a year
sea rise that is going to destroy all civilization!
