Default ASTRO: Lunar Eclipse

Like mine, the colour was much more 'muted', than some of the pictures
being posted. For me, visibly there was really noticeable red earlier,
then latter, the colour became a paler hue. Just been looking back at some
images from the start, and these have much more red visible, than those
from a few minutes latter, and putting a couple of images 'side by side',
from about twenty minutes apart, shows the change. Moonmos1, was taken at
22:47. Moonmos2, at 23:10. Same camera and filters (ST2000, with Astrodon
filters). Some of the latter images, have even less colour showing.

Best Wishes

I first noted a very deep red tinge about two thirds of the way through
the partial phase, and the more orange tones appeared at totality. However
I would describe it as a rusty rather than bright orange, and to the naked
eye there were times it looked almost brown in colour.
You got some nice images there.
