No. There are scintillation cameras. I'm sure someone, somewhere has
been
experimenting with photographing sirius using such equipment. You just
haven't been informed of this, is all.

yeah, but X-ray cameras are out of reach for most of us, and won't
give you the rainbow effect you want.



The more I read about this stuff, the more I am led to believe that
holographic photography might be the only way to really *capture* Sirius
properly. I wonder if it's been done.
