No, he's standing NEXT to Al, Deke is first in the picture, so at the time
the picture was taken, Gus was the only one missing.

OK -- boy, that sure doesn't look like Al Shepard to me. Of course, I
didn't see many pics of him from late in his life.

...Glad to see *someone* got what was "wrong" with that picture. On
the other hand, since the Astronaut Hall of Fame has officially
recognized Jose Jimenez as the "Eighth Mercury Astronaut", Dana's
presence is obviously not that out of place :-)
