A strong military is necessary in today's world. That doesn't mean
that the military in the U.S. is the largest benefactor of pork,

That effectively excludes the "other stuff" which then leaves the US without a space program. But that's what you socialists have wanted all along.


Of course. If they are resource limited, they have to adjust research
to focus on the highest priorities, which is clearly studying the
Earth.
