Just remember that Scaled Composites SS1 is flight hardware, not a prototype
or a scaled version. Their [and other's] development is being done in secret as
is normal in a race environment.
We may be surprized when the Xprize is popped.

Supposedly according to recent statements from Rutan, Scaled
Composites has started (not submitted) the application process for a
launch license (maybe that just means that they're putting the forms
in a closet for later use). If I heard correctly, the application
needs to be submitted at least six months before launch (in the US).
