True. But Luther was in full agreement with the pope and the
Catholic church that Copernicus was a dangerous heretic.


IIRC (and I do), Revolutions was dedicated to the Pope. Which
required permission from the Pope. Which seems an odd thing for the
Pope to do if he felt that Copernicus was a dangerous heretic. What
is the source of your claim?
