Default What happened to Soujourner?

It's a good bet that its electronics died before then, due to thermal
cycling. (That is probably what happened to Pathfinder itself.)

As I know, Pathfinder suffered from RTC glitch.
The clock after resetting was probably programmed with a default data, and
systems started to function during a night, what made the power cells almost
empty and not usable.
Is it true, or not?

No.
Sojourners batteries had run out, as Henry said, they were primary lithium
batteries.
However, the landers batteries, which were rechargable, had failed
(silver-zinc?) and were no longer able to provide power.

The lander was not coming on due to a timer, but running directly
from the solar panels as soon as the power produced by them got great enough.
