Default Jordin Kare RIP

I have recently read on aRocket that Jordin Kare has passed. He was
another sci.space regular and created SF folk music (AKA "filk"). One
of the songs he wrote is called "Fire In The Sky".

My condolences to his family and friends. Kare had been a regular when
Usenet was an active discussion point on technology. Now, it's largely been
replaced by online discussion boards.

Kare was a leading proponent of laser propulsion. My opinion, we are close
to achieving that technological development. It's a shame Kare didn't live
to see that culmination of his creativity and imagination.
