The Earth does not tilt towards and away from the Sun

What does it tilt toward and away from, thug?

The act of tilting or the condition of being tilted.
An inclination from the horizontal or vertical; a slant: adjusting the tilt

conservative rulings.
An implicit preference; a bias: "pitilessly illuminates the inaccuracies and
tilts of the press" (Nat Hentoff).

and attempted to unhorse one another.

There is no shame in not being capable of handling the imaging which
shows Uranus turn South to North in its daily rotation and East to
West by virtue of its orbital component, you cannot see the orbital
motion of Uranus around the Sun directly but by applying
interpretative skills to extrapolate the orbital behavior of the
planet it is possible to see why the orbital path and behavior of the
planet carries the polar coordinates round in a circle to the central
Sun rather than the outdated 'tilting' action and all its awkward
variants -

The mathematical empiricist wants to chant definitions in the hope
they can avoid visible interpretation but that is simply a restatement
of what Pascal knew as a deficiency among mathematicians even before
they set out on the catastrophic course of a clockwork solar system
modeled from timekeeping averages -

They are scarcely seen; they are felt rather than seen; there is the
greatest difficulty in making them felt by those who do not of
themselves perceive them. These principles are so fine and so numerous
that a very delicate and very clear sense is needed to perceive them,
and to judge rightly and justly when they are perceived, without for
the most part being able to demonstrate them in order as in
mathematics, because the principles are not known to us in the same
way, and because it would be an endless matter to undertake it. We
must see the matter at once, at one glance, and not by a process of
reasoning, at least to a certain degree. And thus it is rare that
mathematicians are intuitive and that men of intuition are
mathematicians, because mathematicians wish to treat matters of
intuition mathematically and make themselves ridiculous, wishing to
begin with definitions and then with axioms, which is not the way to
proceed in this kind of reasoning. Not that the mind does not do so,
but it does it tacitly, naturally, and without technical rules; for
the expression of it is beyond all men, and only a few can feel it.
But dull minds are never either intuitive or mathematical"

Unfortunately you and Nicholson belong to the dull category because
the intuitive/interpretative faculties give depth to perception and
their conclusions and that is why I only contend with the vicious
strain of empiricism as it throws out all physical considerations to
conclusions or rather distorts observations to fit conclusions.

You want to move things to personal insults and you cannot as then you
hide behind the utter dullness of Nicholson but the easier way is just
leave the imaging to tell the actual story and why the seasons are not
caused by a tilting Earth or any variation on that theme, the
variations are due to two dynamics of daily and orbital motions
working together and that means modifying what axial precession
represents and a shift to an annual orbital feature.
