No, human greed has no bounds, even if it means extinction of themselves and
their species. Stupid; yes. But it seems that the so-called leaders of
this planet have opted to keep their wealth in lieu of their own survival.

When solar energy became more popular .....every cent of the money the
government doled out for research went to large corporations doing research
for massive (i.e. corporate controlled) projects. None went to companies
seeking to make us (the average citizen) independent from all outside energy
suppliers.

Even the Disney company got millions.

That's not surprising either considering Disney's primary interests are
media and information control.
