One issue that arises is the on-orbit lifetime of the Soyuz. It can't
stay up there for too long before it exceeds its certification. I don't
know how close they are to that.... Even if the specific date isn't
immediate, I can imagine folks don't want to start taking days away when
it's not necessary.
