I am glad that the Democrats now have the opportunity to show what
they can do. I am making no predctions, just sitting back and
watching as the events unfold. In California it is the opposite.
Democrat Governor Gray Davis was recalled from office because he
couldn't control the situation. Now it is Republican Arnold who seems
to be losing the handle! I think neither party has the answers, but
continually try to fool the people into thinking they do, while hoping
for the best. Every economist knows the economy goes through cycles.
If the economy cycles back up in the next four years, Obama will take
all the credit for it, and we will have 8 years of Obama. If the
economy doesn't recover that fast, then we may have another Republican
President in 4 years. Have you heard that clip where Obama is singing
"Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Jesus!"? Well, that's what he will be
singing in 4 years if the economy has recovered, because it will mean
his prayers have been answered (he lucked out).
