Red Dwarf @ 5000AU

Yah, I was thinkin' there could be a red dwarf at 5000 AU... figuring
the dwarf might be 100th as bright as the Sun.
that's why Jupiter isn't so bright...
Jupe's got a cross section 100X of Venus but it's at least 8 AU away
presently and Venus is 1/3 AU or so.
So, lessee, 24 squared is... ballpark 625.
Well, I wuz gonna add in the dimunition of light being sent to Jupiter
from the Sun and the fall off of brightness reflected back from Jupiter...
but I can't get it to add up!
Put Venus at 2/3 AU... 12 squared, inverted, 100 div by 144... 0.7...
and on the way back ...0.7 == .49 relative apparent brightness for Jupe
[comp to Ven].
woops, the men in white coats are coming!
Time, Theresa . . . time.
