What is the shape of the multiverse?
Foam, on an extremely large extragalactic scale.
There's no multiverse, any more, just a regular old, single universe with
different inflationary regions that may have different values for the basic
physical constants. No theory exists about what happens at the boundaries
between these regions.
The multiverse hypothesis was been overthrown by the observation that the
universe is so gigantic that all of it's different sub-universes may exist
within the same region of connected space, and it would theoretically be
possible for things to simply move from region to anothr by just changing
their locations in space.
