Default Astro: A flying saucer hovering over my yard?

NGC 6504 sure looks like one to me. Notice the odd outer halo that is
the same thickness everywhere around the brighter inner core and disk.
A very odd edge on galaxy about 200 million light years away. If I did
the math right that makes it about the same size as our galaxy to
slightly larger. It's "flying" through a very empty area of Hercules.

Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".
