Default The Clouds of Magellan

The Magellanic Clouds are 2 satellite galaxies of the Milky Way, easily
visible from the Southern Hemisphere. Both are classed as irregular galaxies
although one (the LMC?) displays some incipient bar structure I believe.
Objects in the galaxies (and there are many) are designated with the prefix
"N"
Can anyone point out to me where a complete catalogue of these N objects are
on the web and it's history?
