I'm going to take a wild guess that you are a Dem. *Because the
military reaction to Clinton saluting was orders of magnitude more
negative than anything Reagan ever did.


That was because a) he was lousy at it and b) it was clearly
hypocritical, given the abundant evidence that both he and his wife
"loathed" (his word) the military.


Funny how during Clinton's presidency we had no war and a balance
budget.
