If one wants to *see* the thing, the weather here is not all that co-
operative (there's evidence to suggest that it's generally better a few
kilometres to the South).
Currently Holmes is close to Mirfak; it was just about visible about 3
hours ago here.
From the UK, it's currently close to straight up at midnight.
