Some have been listed here before, but I didn't think to
save those lists. Silly me.

My trip is likely to start in a tad under two weeks.

Thanks, Andre

Hmmm... (Been saying that a lot lately.) These are probably too far
for the time you have. But, off the top of my head:

Weeki Watchi, Spring of Live Mermaids (probably too far north)
Ross Allen's Reptile Institute (probably too far south)

Also, Weeki Watchi is a tourist trap, of course. If you remember that
scene from "The Right Stuff" when Gus (?) went swimming in the hotel tank,
you'll get the idea.

There are a lot of things to see in the close vicinity of Orlando. More
tourist traps (like the wax museum) as well as historic sites. A Web search
would turn them up, I'm sure. (Probably you've already done that.) As for
advice on bars and restaurants, I'll defer to locals. It's been eight years
since I spent time in Florida.

Thanks. The kinds of places I am most interested in, is publically obscure
space related places, aside from the well known places like the actual
Cape, and it's museums and exhibits.

Most of the time, I'll be just north of Tampa, so places around
there would fit in. The lady I'll be seeing there, and the seeing of
whom is the point of the trip, is reasonably conversant with her
area.

Andre
