Seriously tho', find a beach access as far north as you can. You can see
a few pads, including the one the last Atlas3B went from.

This would be north of the LC-39 area, or south of it ?

Very south. I know the last Atlas launch was the first time I've been able
to see the pad from the beach. I have no idea what the view from north of
KSC is like, but do hit the Fat Boy's in Tidybowl for a good view of the
VAB.

You know, I just thought of something...I bet you can see the EELV pads from
528. I'll let y'all know next launch. :-)
