They will settle their differences sooner or later anyway. They are
trying to settle them now, but our being there is impeding it. The
future I see for Iraq is as three separate countries. We could divide
it right now, but there would still probably be fighting over
borders. Best to let them fight it out and eventually establish their
own borders through treaty when they get tired of fighting.

I'm sure not looking forward to Iran taking over what's left of Iraq and
having to pay $5/gal. gasoline, are you?

One third of Iraq might join with Iran, not a pleasant prospect. But
I have seen nothing but increases at the pump since Cheney's
Halliburton took over management of the Iraqi oil fields.
