Bert, if it gets to the point where poor people really cannot afford
electricity, they will have to learn to live without it, just like
people are doing in the third world. MacDonald's isn't going to raise
their pay scale just so their employees can afford their electric
bills. You would think that the big companies that produce and sell
electric appliances would have a vested interest in seeing that
electric rates remain at a level where everyone can afford it.
