What's "facetious"?

I ask more than my fair share of questions because, I'm not nearly as
smart as I'd like to be. I also have an old PC that is not a tenth as
good as yours, and otherwise I make do with a basic dial-up internet
service that seriously sucks and blows.

I offer my best and honest SWAG as to whatever notions might qualify
in one way or another, and otherwise I utilize my best deductive
reasoning as based upon the regular laws of physics and of the best
available science that I can understand.

For some odd reason(s) that has nothing faith-based associated or even
political at any level, my somewhat lose cannon interpretations and
subsequent conjectures and suggestions are taken out of context, and
then usually summarily bashed and/or banished, as though I'm the
ultimate antichrist of this anti-think-tank Usenet from naysay hell.
Go figure.

If that's being "facetious", then so be it.
