I was hoping for a little feedback on this question...

I have managed to put some funds by to so that I can purchase a
reasonable/good OTA and mount, and I am having problems making a
decision.

I have decided that a GoTo (= 6") is what I want and with a budget
of approx £1,800 I have ended up with the following 2 options:

1) Celestron CPC 800 GPS (XLT)
2) Meade LX90 8" GPS Telescope UHTC

I have read many reviews and user comments about both of these but I
really do not have the experience to make an educated decision on
this. I am fairly new to astronomy as a hobby but I need something
that will grow with me, and for some time.
