I keep saying I'm going to get a couple of Barlows. One of these days.

Yeah, for my D200 I could really use a higher powered short barlow,
like maybe a 5x. Doing eyepiece projection would be a bit of a
pain with this camera. My focuser tube flexes too easily as it is.

I've always found using a good Barlow to be better than eyepiece
projection. Eyepieces were never intended to be projection lenses. You also
need to keep within reason. If your scope can resolve .5 arc seconds there's
no sense in blowing up the image so much that you have an image scale of .1
arc second per pixel.
