Finally deflector shields are being developed to tackle
the outer space radiation problem.

As profound Earth Science Team Officers hopefully set out into the
deepest reaches of space those developed radiation shields will be a
welcomed asset to help protect space crew members. Of course the Seans
must have licked that problem long ago but helping protect present Nasa
distant planet mission astronauts will be welcomed.

It's good to see that Dr. Ruth is getting involved in providing our
astronauts protection from dangerous radiation. Of course, she has
always advised using proper protection.
Even Darla admitted that hard radiation was a problem for
intergalactic travel at FTL speeds. But being ever observant of the
prime directive, she would give no clues as to how to solve the
problem.
But every problem has a solution, and so the solutions will be found
as we reach for the stars.
