BULL****! Equilibrium is many cases is reached EXTREMELY slowly. Kind
of strange that an alleged GEOLOGIST doesn't know this. Where is the
equilibrium for the reaction C (graphite) --- C (diamond) at low
pressure? The equilibrium is far towards the graphite at loew
pressure. Does that mean all women's diamonds are going to
instantaneously turn into graphite? I think not.

In
clear it means that like in a siphon, once the siphon is triggered
all things will go downhill until another equilibrium is
reached ...and no turning back !
