anticipate !

Le Chatelier's principle

In chemistry, Le Chatelier's principle can be used to predict the
effect of a change in conditions on a chemical equilibrium. The
principle is named after Henry Louis Le Chatelier.
Le Châtelier's principle can be summarized thus:

If a chemical system at equilibrium experiences a change in
concentration, temperature,volume, or total pressure; the equilibrium
will shift in order to minimize that change.


and that shift of the equilibrium point is very swift indeed. In
clear it means that like in a siphon, once the siphon is triggered
all things will go downhill until another equilibrium is
reached ...and no turning back !

Did anyone say 6 m sea rise ? ... it will happen within 5 years ...
then work out the consequences for Australia, and also mark my
words !
