Report #J04-035

THE WIGGLES CHILDREN'S MUSIC GROUP TO VISIT MISSION CONTROL

Media are invited as The Wiggles - a popular children's musical group - tour
NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston, on Thursday, Aug. 5, visiting Mission
Control and astronaut training facilities.

Media planning to attend should arrive at the Johnson Space Center security
office (Building 110) no later than 8:30 a.m. and contact the JSC Newsroom
at 281/483-5111 for credentials.

During the tour, members of the group will call the International Space
Station with greetings for NASA ISS Science Officer Mike Fincke, who is in
the fourth month of a six-month flight. That call will be broadcast live on
NASA Television as part of the daily coverage of Station activities
beginning at 9:30 a.m. CDT Thursday.

At the conclusion of its tour, The Wiggles will briefly field questions from
the media in front of the Space Shuttle trainer. That session is available
to reporters in attendance only and will not be broadcast on NASA TV.

NASA Television has moved to a different satellite and is now seen in the
continental United States on AMC-6, at 72 degrees west longitude,
Transponder 9, 3880 MHz, vertical polarization, audio at 6.8 MHz. If you
live in Alaska or Hawaii, NASA TV will now be seen on AMC-7, at 137 degrees
west longitude, Transponder 18, at 4060 MHz, vertical polarization, audio at
6.8 MHz.
